Two-month-old baby's death

Two-month-old baby boy’s death ruled as an accident. Maybe it really was an accident, it leaves me to wander why the parents left such a young child in the care of maid only. As a mother myself, I know that bathing a baby is not an easy task. At the time of the accident, the baby’s grandmother was at home. She did not suspect anything amiss upon hearing the baby’s cry and went out.

Some maids don’t have children of their own and have never looked after a baby before. They can handle household chores but not children, especially children in a tender age. So something we can learn from this accident is: Try to take care of your own children by yourself, or leave them with the grandparents, or at least feed and bathe the baby by yourself as much as possible. Don’t maximize the maid’s tasks. They are human too. When a person is tired, the tendency of making mistakes is relatively higher.

No matter how sad or angry the parents are, a child was lost, and lost forever.
